Why Ups And Downs Are Important In Life

Life is a swing and we may face many ups and downs which push us to work hard and achieve success.

Well! We have heard it a lot that where there is light, there is darkness too but somewhere or the other we regret sorrows and party on amusements. We forget our own sayings and this is the fact we might feel low at some step of our life.

The fact that life is a swing is immutable and will remain there forever but falling into the swamp of worldly affairs so deep and hard we almost defenestrate the thought of the ‘swing’.

Nevertheless, God does not forget to continue the cycle and he performs his duties to swing us up or down and helps us to be strong and motivated.

We cry in bad times and rebuke and yell at God for making our stay in the darkness of sorrow but on the other side of the same bridge, we pat our backs and talk high about our own-self at times of achievements, happiness, and joy.

This is where we lag behind and this is when drowning in the swamp of the black world.

There might be a pain to bear, hardships to endure, but we remaining in the boat of stability in mind and co-ordination of soul and heart, row to the bank of achievements, treasure which has engulfed tranquillity within.

The river is wide but the determination is wider, one’s faith in oneself will stabilize his mentality towards the world and its deeds. Just a long-weathered path with hurdles all around, hearing one’s inner-self and introspection is the key.

We cannot live in the moment of happiness forever and bad times will also not remain forever for sure. But the challenge that lies, life long before us is that we have to be a person who learns and understands the attitude and nature of the surroundings as well as of the situation we have to or are facing, later it matters that the scenario lies between the sorrow or joy.

Going not too far from the instance, we observe the change of day to night and vice versa.  So, if the day’s light is not there forever and night’s sparkle is also temporary then why leave the hope of being always the thrown one or unlucky.

In Jesus’ work, we have our help not just for the future but as we go through life now.

Even as scripture clearly proclaims, “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are – yet without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Unlucky is just a word and not a life to live.

Life is hard. Life is gritty, and above all, life is full of ups and downs.

And the same goes for you too, your story is your own, no one else’s.

As it states in Ecclesiastes, Chapter 3, “There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens.”

Determination is very important because it enables us to persist in the face of difficulties. It makes us march fearlessly ahead with faith until we achieve our goal.

Since life is never smooth, many of us fall off when we come across obstacles. But with determination, we can overcome any type of obstacle.

The idea that we can achieve happiness by maximizing pleasure and minimizing pain is both intuitive and popular. The truth is, however, very different.

Pleasure alone can not make us happy.

An epitome of this is below:

Take Christina Onassis, the daughter of shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis. She inherited wealth beyond imagination and spent it on extravagant pleasures in an attempt to alleviate her unhappiness. She died at 37 and her biography, telling subtitled All the Pain Money Can Buy, recounts a life full of mind-boggling extravagance that contributed to her suffering.

One of the easiest ways to increase your tolerance for pain and discomfort is to remember your higher purpose and the meaning it will give your life. That meaning, in turn, will increase your happiness.  Thus, the best way to deal with the inevitable pain of life is to take on a worthwhile project and another and another.

Including some healthy pleasures in your daily life will also add to your happiness and help you “whistle while you work.”

Talking of pain is vast as talking of happiness. but happiness is not permanent is something difficult to kindness in because that is what everyone wants to remain permanent with but, as I said and rather everyone says that nothing is permanent here.

For example,

Jennifer Hecht is a philosopher who studies the history of happiness. In her book “The Happiness Myth,” Hecht proposes that we all experience different types of happiness, but these aren’t necessarily complementary. Some types of happiness may even conflict with one another.

In other words, having too much of one type of happiness may undermine our ability to have enough of the others — so it’s impossible for us to simultaneously have all types of happiness in great quantities.

For example, a satisfying life built on a successful career and a good marriage is something that unfolds over a long period of time. I strongly believe that a supportive partner is also your strongest pillar and tells you about all the good and bad things. It takes a lot of work, and it often requires avoiding hedonistic pleasures like partying or going on spur-of-the-moment trips. It also means you can’t while away too much of your time spending one pleasant lazy day after another in the company of good friends.

On the other hand, keeping your nose to the grindstone demands that you cut back on many of life’s pleasures. Relaxing days and friendships may fall by the wayside.

Every living being is incessantly searching for happiness. This search is natural to our being since we are eternal parts of God, Who’s the ocean of Divine Bliss. It is not that Krishna contains happiness and they are separate, He is happiness himself.

Therefore, our search for happiness is unknowingly the search for God. Upon attaining Him alone can the soul experience the unlimited Divine Bliss that it is hankering for.

But we souls are searching for happiness in this material realm, which is not possible.

From Buddha to John Locke, people have always realized that struggle is the fundamental attribute common in life. While the relative peace and prosperity of the past 60 years have made people re-evaluate their views on the world, the ultimate core of the issue is the same – happiness is temporary, but that doesn’t mean it’s constantly out of reach.

But the only salient feature that lies here is that stability, introspection, tranquillity within the soul, the realization of the reality of the world as well as the world is foremost.

Emotional stability is a desirable trait. It means you can withstand difficult situations, handle adversity, and remain productive and capable throughout. Some people get to a certain point in their lives when they realize that they are not as emotionally stable as they would like to be.

Mutability is the principle of life. Everything changes and happiness turns into sadness. The good news is that the opposite is also true. And the more good news is that there is a state we can call joy that is different from happiness and that can always be accessed inside of us.

It doesn’t depend upon externals.

Concluding the writing we draw that just like a see-saw one aspect of life has to reach higher levels of life and be once at the peak and strike down to the bottom pushing the other side upward.

The fundamental attribute to be remembered is that we must be stable, strong, and firm enough to withstand the harsh testing of life and not forgetting that we will fall to basics again after a long jump. Only then the survival of one is possible.

Else words like unlucky, stress, worries, cries will be no far from us.

Hope you like my blog and understand that the ups and downs are very important in everyone’s life.
